Clairvoyance, LLC has been accepted as an InnovateHER Challenge host. We are very excited that we were selected to be a part of an amazing experience. The SBA launched the InnovateHER Challenge, a national prize competition aimed at unearthing products and services that impact and empower the lives of women and families through local business competitions that culminate in a live pitch Final Round. During the InnovateHER Finals, up to 10 Finalists will compete for the Top Three cash prizes totaling $70,000 provided by Microsoft. This year, the national InnovateHER Finals will be held on March 16 & 17, 2016 in the Washington, D.C. metro area as part of a larger Women’s Summit.
The SBA allows local competitions to be held as initial rounds in order to compose a list of semi-finalists to select 10 to advance to the Final Round. As a challenge host, we receive the honor of fully constructing a local preliminary competition. Clairvoyance will choose the type of competition, establish a panel of judges, and choose a winner to proceed to the semi-finalist round. Since there is no guarantee that our winner will advance to the Final Round and have a chance to compete, we are working hard to secure enough sponsors to offer cash prizes for our top 3 local competition winners.
The competition is free to register. This challenge is open to both men and women with businesses that positively effect the lives of women and families. We plan to host a live pitch event where 10 selected companies will have the opportunity to present to our judges. A networking event will take place proceeding the presentations giving competitors, panelists, supporters and local businesses an opportunity to connect and celebrate. This event will be free to attend. Mark your calendars for Tuesday December 1, 2015 from 6pm – 10pm. We look forward to creating a wonderful experience.
